Shutting the water off

If a pipe or a fixture lets go, close the water off first and call afterwards — it's the one thing worth doing before getting in touch. The shut-off is outside, not inside.

  1. Step 1: Step out the front door — take your door code with you, it locks behind you.
  2. Step 2: Walk down the first flight of steps.
  3. Step 3: Look to your left. The shut-off is there.
